What services does Anytime Cleaner provide?

Anytime Cleaner provides regular residential cleaning, one-off cleaning, deep cleaning and selected cleaning services for apartments, houses, offices and other suitable properties. Tell us what you need when requesting a booking so we can confirm availability, estimated hours and pricing.

Are the prices shown on the website per cleaner?

Yes. Unless a written quote states otherwise, hourly prices are charged per cleaner, per hour. If two cleaners attend for three hours, the booking includes six cleaner-hours.

Is there a minimum booking time?

Yes. Our standard minimum booking is three hours. Larger, one-off, deep or specialised cleaning jobs may require additional time, which will be discussed before the booking is confirmed.

Do weekend and public-holiday bookings cost more?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Weekend and Victorian public-holiday rates reflect the higher cost of employing cleaners at those times. The applicable rate is displayed for each service on our Pricing page. When a public holiday falls on a weekend, the public-holiday rate replaces the weekend rate; the two rates are not added together. Prices are per cleaner, per hour, with a three-hour minimum per cleaner.

What happens if a public holiday falls on a weekend?

The Victorian public-holiday rate applies and replaces the weekend rate. The two rates are not added together. Your final rate will be confirmed in writing before the booking is accepted.

Do cleaners bring cleaning products and equipment?

Accepted Answer

Cleaning products are included. Customers must provide a working vacuum, mop and bucket at the property. Our cleaners do not bring cleaning equipment.

Are cleaning products included in the website price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cleaning products are included in our rates. Cleaning equipment is not: please have a working vacuum, mop and bucket ready at the property. Specialised treatments and additional services are only included when stated in your written booking confirmation or quote.

What happens if a vacuum, mop or bucket is unavailable?

Accepted Answer

Please make sure a working vacuum, mop and bucket are available before the cleaner arrives. If this equipment is missing, unsafe or not working, some tasks may not be completed.

Can I book a regular cleaner?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We welcome weekly and fortnightly clients. Regular bookings are subject to cleaner availability, and we will try to provide consistency whenever possible. We may arrange a suitable replacement if the regular cleaner is unavailable.

Do you accept one-off cleaning jobs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One-off and deep cleaning requests are welcome, subject to availability and an appropriate quote. Please accurately describe the size and condition of the property so we can estimate the time required.

How do I request a booking?

Accepted Answer

Submit the booking or enquiry form with your preferred date, location, property details and cleaning requirements. Requests depend on local cleaner availability. A booking is confirmed only when Anytime Cleaner accepts it in writing and receives any deposit requested for that booking.

Question 12

How and when do I pay?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit may be required for a first booking, one-off, deep or end-of-lease clean, a subcontractor-allocated job, or a large or specialised job. We tell you before payment and credit it toward the total. The remaining balance is due on the day cleaning is completed; large or specialised job schedules are agreed in the individual quote. Secure Stripe invoices or payment links are sent by email or SMS. Pay Anytime Cleaner, not the cleaner, unless authorised in writing.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Using Melbourne local time, cancellation or rescheduling is free at least 24 hours before the scheduled start, with a deposit refund or transfer at your choice. Under 24 hours but before the service day, a charge of up to 50% may apply. On the service day, a no-show or failure to provide access may result in a charge of up to 100%. Every charge is limited to reasonable actual loss after saved costs and replacement work are deducted; deposits are credited, excess is refunded and there is no double recovery. Emergencies are considered fairly.

Can I add extra tasks during the appointment?

You may request additional tasks, but they depend on available time and may change the total. Anytime Cleaner will obtain your approval for extra tasks, time or charges before the work is performed.

What should I do before the cleaner arrives?

Accepted Answer

Please provide safe access to the property, secure pets, remove valuable or fragile items from the cleaning area, identify priority tasks and ensure the required products and equipment are ready and working.

Do cleaners handle hazardous or specialist cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Standard cleaning does not include biohazards, bodily fluids, mould remediation, pest waste, dangerous chemicals, heavy lifting, high external windows or other hazardous or licensed work. Please disclose unusual conditions before booking so we can decide whether the job is suitable.

Can cleaners take before-and-after photographs?

Photographs may be taken with the customer’s consent for job verification, quality control, safety and dispute management. Photos are stored privately and are not used for advertising or social media without separate permission.

Question 18

What if I am unhappy with the cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Contact Anytime Cleaner promptly with the booking reference and details. You may provide photographs with consent if helpful. We will investigate and provide an appropriate re-clean, refund or other remedy where required by the Australian Consumer Law. There is no arbitrary reporting deadline that removes your rights. Please discuss a disputed invoice with us in good faith.

Can Anytime Cleaner refuse or discontinue service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We may decline, pause or discontinue service where there are safety concerns, abusive or inappropriate conduct, non-payment, repeated late cancellations, misleading booking information, unreasonable demands or serious policy breaches.
